Hats off the ER staff, and the rest of the team that took care of me while I was a patient at the hospital. When I was in the ER department, they took great care of me. They took the time to tell me in layman's terms what they were doing to me and what my treatment options were. If I could give zero stars, I would. What happened to me at this hospital was not just unethical — it was dehumanizing. I entered the ER after experiencing a traumatic event and was met with indifference, dismissal, and ultimately, retaliation. I reported sexual assault. 1. Staff at front desk is rude. I have been there 4 times this winter and each time the front desk person was rude and uncaring. 2. Their website says they close at 7:00pm. Dont believe it. I called this evening at 6:14pm to make sure I would be able to get in before heading over. I asked "Can I get in to see a doctor this evening" Reply from front desk attendant "No not tonight." I was a 78 yr old patient in the ER laying in the hallway and heard screaming. "Lay down " Security came rushing by my bed. My husband and I heard later someone had overdosed and was violently kicking,hitting and spitting on the ER staff. This was terrifying to listen to because we didn't know what was going to happen and we didn't feel safe. Did the person have a weapon? Was hospital security armed? Tis five-star review if for the care team that provided compassionate and expert care fo rmy mother. Nurses Molly, Kizzy, Shae and Dominique were kind, compassionate, attentive and gave expert care. Also, Laura the Nurse Practitioner was amazing!!
the wors service ever they threat you like garbage never sees something like that I was Bleeding from my nose they didn't do anything and medical staff they are completely lost they even couldn't put a cast never seen something like that I believe any poor country that better service than that people plus really expensive they dont care i seen people almost dying and they dont care at all. worst hospital in the area.
My son is currently in the behavioral health unit. God this place is absolutely horrible. Every staff member is rude, argumentative, and dismissive. Staff has attitudes for absolutely no reason. My son is normally a patient of Children's and unfortunately there were no beds there, so he was transported to Grandview. I wouldn't bring my animals to Grandview if that was the only option.
