It's crummy, but I really think my son's time here did more harm than good. Therapists were extremely kind and professional, but focused more on building rapport instead of solving the issues of why a child came to them. The drug use in transportation and at the center is very concerning, and caused so many more problems for my son, than when he arrived. They also discharged him with zero supports and set him up to fail by sending him to school part time without an IEP. They did a referral to the county for supports, but unf... read more

My time at Northwest was absolutely terrible. The whole time was sitting in silence with nothing to do, terrible we went to learn nothing, to not get help or support. Kids were aggressive banging on doors trying to break in and running around the building and the other teens were so rude. This is NOT the place to be if you are trying to build a life worth living.
DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE If I could leave a no star review I would. My child has an extreme list of mental health diagnoses and concerns. She was still accepted into this program with optimism that this would be good for her. Their structure is a not effective and more importantly their communication or lack there of is a joke.
