Please go somewhere else. Without our knowledge, the doctor changed the diagnosis and put in their own authorization with our insurance company for hyperbarics even though we already had authorization from our surgeon and insurance company. The second time we needed hyperbarics they said it was not recommended for our sons condition despite the recommendation and authorization from our surgeon and insurance company again. I would give Dr. Milliner Bozdemir Norsworthy if I could. She has no bedside manner and treated me as if the issue I’m having is my problem to deal with. She did not take the time to empathize with me or try to understand what I have been dealing with, instead she kept repeating “solutions” that had been tried and had not worked and rushed out of the room. I do NOT recommend going to this doctor. I plan to never see her again. I have never in my life had a doctor make me cry, until today.
I’m disgusted by the doctor that cared for me. My legs have huge wounds that are open sores. She seen I was on methadone and that changed everything. I’m in constant pain for three years now and she didn’t talk to me walked in looked at my legs said a few sentences telling me my methadone is causing the pain. RIDICULOUS! I’ve never asked for pain meds or anything like that I just wanted my wounds taken care of. She did nothing for me! This clinic is really good. I see Dr Norsworthy. I have been twice now. My wound already looks so much better in just 2 weeks. I have a dehisced surgical incision that went on for way too long as a different clinic wouldn't do anything other than put wet to dry gauze in it. I finally insisted on a referral to Wound Care and I'm so glad I did. The nurses are amazing and so is Dr Norsworthy. They are so thorough going over every centimeter of my wound.
