I went in due to pain in my left arm and increased congestion of the lungs the doctor ordered all kinds of tests which is fine but he never not once listen to My heart or my lungs. I guess he was depending on the test results to show him I was concerned about cardiac because I am a cardiac patient so that was very disappointing. And a retired RN. I do not go to the ER only for if it is serious. Plus they want the copay up front which I normally don't have.
Not only did I wait what seemed like forever for the simplest things, but the Dr only came in and introduced herself in the beginning. No one ever actually provided me with a verbal explanation of what was going on with my ankle. I had to ask. Then the tech told me that the Dr would be in to talk to me and I never saw her. I was not happy with my overall experience.
I really didn't feel like I got quality Care from the doctor like she looked in my ear and said oh you have a tiny bit of wax in your ear that's what caused everything it's not and I know it's not because I had swelling I had a fever I was throwing up I had every symptom of infection and just because I wasn't running a fever and she found a little bit of ear wax in my ear she sent me on my way. From the receptionists, to the nurse to the Dr, and to the tech for mri. It was a pleasant experience all the way, even though I was in pain thank you all ☺
