I went in to NW-Fam-Clinics Urgent Care with the tick I popped off my back (with a back scratcher - with head intact yet, stored in a contact lens case), & within seconds PA Stephanie Lee showed me photos of a deer tick's progressive 'inflation' after 4 & 7 days, with the 7 day tick matching my real tick to a 'T'! She prescribed an antibiotic to cover any possible tick disease (which helped immensely right away), & their lab took a blood sample to ascertain if I had the worst case scenario (Lyme disease) or not.
