I just wanted to say thank you for dropping everything to drive for 2 hours to help my mom with my horse today. Especially since you are not a vet we had ever used before. My mom can't remember which vet came out, but said that she was amazing. We had Ace for over 25 years. He was my birthday present when I was 10 years old and I'm so sad that he had to be put down today, but I'm so grateful that there are still amazing vets like you that will do whatever they can to help a horse. Dr. Latimer is a kind, understanding and excellent vet. He listens to his customers, honors their perspective and perceptions, and helps them understand what they see - even if they don't use the correct terminology! I have learned a great deal from Dr. Latimer and my horses are fortunate to have him as their vet.
I have been a client since...1990? I see a lot of vets in my business of training Dressage horses. Dr Latimer and his associates are the best lameness vets, dentist, and overall care specialists, that I have had the pleasure to work with. They truly care about the well being of each horse and are always making sure the horses best interest is taken seriously with each decision.
Dr. Schroeder is extremely honest and compassionate. She does a fabulous job of working with her clients to provide the best outcome possible for the situation. Much appreciated.
Dr. Schroeder is fantastic!! With her help, my arthritic horse is back to being happy & sound. Highly recommend!!!

We first visited Northwest Equine in Aug. of 2008 for an assessment of my recently rescued gelding and have worked with Dr. Rothschild and Dr. Latimer through the years to manage some lameness and metabolic issues. They are both excellent and willing to partner with you to whatever level of care you are seeking. They genuinely care.
