I was referred to Northwest ENT Clinic by my GP for recurrent nosebleeds (epistaxis) related to a deviated septum. I found my consultation with Dr Muthu to be very rushed, pricey, and not particularly helpful. It felt like I only had 5 min in the consultation room with Dr Muthu. He confirmed what my GP said, that I had epistaxis. He used a thin microscope up the nose; it was literally 2 seconds or less in each nostril, and that was $150. Extremely disappointed with Doctor Muthu !!I went to see the doctor with my son concerned about sleep apnea. The doctor just looked at his mouth spent less than 10 minutes for an initial consultation and asked us to come back in two months. No recommendations for further studies. Did not provide any information in addition what the GP has already provided me and our GP actually spent more than 20 minutes speaking observing and consulting. Excellent care for my son’s ear treatment and surgery by Dr Muthu. He was professional, kind, and explained everything clearly. The surgery went smoothly, and the post-surgery follow-ups were thorough and reassuring. We are very grateful and highly recommend Dr Muthu.
My child had chronic cough. He missed school almost 6 weeks. Initially, GP recommended Respiratory Specialist but it didn't help. We were awaiting for Royal Melbourne Children's Hospital specialist appointment but sadly wait till me was 4-6 months.
