Don't even bother with this credit union. They don't want your business. I walked in at 4:59 They close at 5:30. I wanted to open an account and the gentleman who was sitting behind the desk doing absolutely nothing said well, we're going to close soon and it takes about 20-25 minutes possibly 30 minutes to open an account. So would you like to schedule an appointment and come back at another time cuz we close at 5:30. So what you're telling me is it takes 20 to 25 minutes. I would not recommend Peak Credit Union to anyone building credit or POC. Had to edit down this review because I’ve had such a negative experience with these folks. I became a member when I was a member with NWCU (NorthWest Credit Union), and through the merger with TwinStar became a member of Peak. This credit union recently merged with my old one. Screwed up their transfer so bad they did not have my proof of insurance (already provided to twinstar credit initially). They unlawfully repo'd my car by entering a locked gait, running over my fire pit and almost my dog, hooked my truck by the passenger SIDE to drag it back over my fire pit and another 50 ft across my lawn.
