I see 1-star reviews here, and I don’t know who they’re for but they can’t possibly be for Dr Maria Louise Labarca as she’s AMAZING! I have suffered from joint and muscle pain for years, and finally a physiastrist figured out it was autoimmmune. I waited months and months for an appt only to be let down by a doctor who started me on meds . . . and then took off on vacation without anyone covering for her and expected my GP to oversee titration of DMARDS and testing - which was out of the question. Christine Stamatos is beyond brilliant and she is highly knowledgeable about everything to do with Rheumatology. Also all of the auto immune diseases.If there is something wrong, she will find it. You are wasting your time with other offices. She is the best.
Horrendous. Years of being pushed by every specialist to rheumatology with unexplained symptoms and very high ANA. Was dismissed and brushed off deciding it wasn’t autoimmune related before testing was done but she ran annoyedly decided to run a few “anyways”. Did a few minimal tests and was nastily brushed off again by the nurse that called with results and said after “extensive work ups” it’s not rheumatologic. EXTENSIVE. I had an experience here a couple months ago that left me sobbing leaving the office. I have a chronic symptoms of severely dry skin with no cause. I've done allergy tests, blood tests, and nothing. My PCP finally texted me for ANA and it came back positive. She made it a huge deal, and while I was nervous I was thankful to have an answer. Until I saw one of the doctors here.
