My experience at Great South Bay Imaging Center during a routine mammogram appointment was very distressing. The front desk interaction felt dismissive and inconsistent, which escalated what is already an anxiety-provoking medical visit. She saved my life. I had triple negative breast cancer the worst. I am a nurse so I am very critical I had multiple weird side effects from the chemo of course I’m a nurse. She tailored my treatment to address the side effects. I would recommend her highly
I would give this company and their doctors zero stars if I could but there is one doctor who deserves five stars. Other than him, the doctors I have dealt with lack the ability to communicate, do not take care of you, and do not return calls. The lack of caring is truly incredible. They are a factory just trying bill patients rather than care for them. It's been ten days and three messages to a doctor and chirp chirp-nothing. Terrible doctor. I had a procedure done by him which was a horrible ordeal and I also had a complication from it. I do not recommend seeking medical care from this man. Arrogant, insecure condescending, passive aggressive sums him up quite nicely based on my interactions with him. He has his employees, such as Biagio Siniscalchi, who is an administrator at the hospital he works at, writing fake positive reviews on social media/google, but they are all lies.
We have had nothing but wonderful experiences with Dr. Cheryl Mensah, hematologist, and her staff, including nurse Shorook Jasser, Nurse Practitioner Katherine Ruiz, and reception/scheduling desk member Lynette, as well as the other members of the reception/scheduling desk. All of the aforementioned have exhibited a high degree of professionalism, knowledge and caring. Very rude and office staff is rude too. Also overheard him talk bad about me and patients to other staff members. I dont reccomend this office.
The hospital is nice and I'm sure the staff are competent. Recently an ER physician told the patient and the family, when he entered a very sick persons room, that he only had 15 minutes to do everything and could not check anything or answer any questions after that. And he left in under 15 minutes. On the same day, a nurse told the family that she could not answer questions because she was going off shift and perhaps the next nurse could answer the family's questions. Phelps Hospital in Sleepy Hollow gets a score of 1 for spinal or hip surgery. I just checked out of the hospital today for a L5-S1 synovial cyst. The doctors and nurses in the hospital were excellent, but the Hill-Rom beds were a disaster. The nurses cold not stop the automatically inflate and deflate feature which caused incredible to my lower spine. She left the hospital during my chemotherapy, and I had no idea she was leaving. She never informed her patients that she would no longer be working at that hospital. I am in the middle of treatment and now need to find another doctor. She did not transfer me to another doctor. This is an unethical way to treat a patient.
