Efficient, caring staff
I am writing to express my concerns regarding the care I received during my visit today. I left the facility feeling unheard, dismissed, and in worse condition than when I arrived. I presented with heart palpitations, dizziness, and nausea. Despite reporting that I had vomited, I was not provided any treatment for nausea. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. $4k for a glucose monitor and 2 antacids and the audacity to kick someone out after scolding them immediately after they become conscious clearly because the patient doesn't have insurance. Can't recommend that you avoid this place enough. You're better off contacting a witch doctor for actual lifesaving care and you'll definitely pay less. They closed ethics claims without so much as an email or phone call response and should not be trusted with anyone's life based on their treatment in what I witnessed.
If you have something complex going on, as others have noted, please go elsewhere. I showed up and they ran many routine tests on me. When I explained my medical history and the specific procedure I likely needed they told me they would need the opinion of a specialist and discharged me. I made an appointment with the specialist, but had to go to the Weil Cornell ER a few days after.
