Got a $701 bill that my insurance wouldn’t cover due to me being from out of state to get zero help and only driven 3 miles to the hospital. Absolutely ridiculous

On the morning of March 17th, 2024...I had a heart attack at my home. My husband called an ambulance to take me to the hospital. This was absolutely the worst experience of my life!!! The paramedic was training someone and she was having the trainee do the work. The trainer was extremely rude to the trainee and myself. The trainee did an EKG while I was still in the driveway of my home. I asked the trainer if I was having a heart attack after she looked at the results. She stated that I was fine. Not not not professional or really understanding In my opinion barely is able to listen and repeat back what you said.
My dad had a horrible experience, walking that long behind walk from the parking lot to the federal Building . That walk is insane from the parking lot to the building. Then to have to walk a long walk once he got inside the SSA office. Just hard on elders . When we were walking back to the car he just got winded and couldn’t make it. We got him to the bench and thank God for the Officer Smith and the other officer for calling the medics. I forgot to get the 3 of their names .
