Advertising one price but charge another. I inquired about the vehicle they had advertised for 114,000 when I filled out all the paperwork and did everything else saying informed me that that was just a retail price and they were adding another $20,000 to it. I find this corrupt and just low life

Got a 2018 ford escape se on 6/10/2024. Not even two weeks later, the power steering failed on me and I went to get it looked at and I was quoted at over 3 grand to replace something because I didn’t have a warranty. I feel like I should’ve had some kind of warranty. Definitely would not recommend unless they help me.

I purchased a truck on 6/10/23 from North Star Ford. Rustproofing and some small repairs were written in the purchase agreement. My salesman Tommi said he would contact me after he has scheduled the repairs. After 3 weeks I worked with Kadin the floor manager because Tommi never scheduled anything even after I left him a detailed voicemail and I stopped at the business 3 days later because I never got a call back. The rustproofing took 2 visits because they “ran out of time” on the first visit even though my truck was there ... read more

I bought a 2022 Ford Ranger they refuse to fix Trailor lights plug in unless I pull my own Trailor down there in order for them to fix it. I wont take my Trailor down there cause it's 200 miles round trip and don't need to get stopped and fined cause of no tail lights, So they refuse to fix it. Also we bought a extended warranty for 3,000.00 and found out it started the day we bought the truck and will end before our factory warranty is off the truck. We took a video showing them that the Trailor plug in doesn't work took it... read more

In September, we traded out my Chevy Malibu for something bigger, with low miles and has AWD. I expressed these needs to our salesman. I did go in with a vehicle in mind, and they had two on their lot, same make and model. When I asked the difference between the two, we were told the other one was a different trim level, had heated seats, and remote start, which I did not absolutely NEED. Fast forward to Duluth's first snowstorm December, my car gets stuck in the driveway, after being plowed. Turns out, my vehicle IS NOT AWD... read more

For reference, I purchased an ~$80K truck at full MSRP. There are a lot of details I could provide here, but the bottom line is this: These guys are salesmen, and they make a living by selling you whatever they can, even if they need to "bend" some details to make it seem more desirable. There are enough people in the area, they don't need repeat business, so there is zero incentive for them to do the ethical thing. Ethics are a foreign concept to them. So feel free to give them your money, but you will be disappointed. That... read more

Worst place I have EVER dealt with, the managers at this dealership are Absolutely the Worst! We went in the beginning of February had a car all picked out signed all the paperwork and they asked for the keys to wash the car, handed them the keys and 30 mins later we were told we couldnt buy that car because the matinence people put new tires on it that cost 1000.00 do the car was no longer in our price range, against my gut and better judgement I went with my husband because he liked the finance guy and we went back to them... read more
