Went in for a shoulder MRI. Had one at a walk up MRI place for $450 that was good but came here expecting it to be a little more to get better detail and had been a couple of years. Billed to my insurance so far is $13,000 dollars making my portion $2100. This with no warning and no heads up. Trying to warn everyone I know to avoid this place but one stopped me and said same place did the same thing to him so BEWARE. The woman that did my ultrasound was horrendous to deal with. Hard to fathom how you can be that rude and inconsiderate in such a short amount of time. Go anywhere else.
Extremely clean and attractive facility. Front office staff friendly and efficient. Easy to schedule appointment. Technician very compassionate and efficient.
The good - Staff providing the service and scheduling was pleasant. The Bad - Unethical business practices with billing. I spent 3 weeks getting insurance to pre-authorize an MRI. I show up and am told my portion will be ~$900. This was a big surprise. So I ask for total cash up front price. That will be $655 - OK... Paid. 2 months later my insurance was billed for another MRI fee, and MRI reading fee. resulting in an additional $300 charge to me.
