This is just to balance the buyback issues people are posting, buybacks are perfectly legal, and good cars, just means at that time the customer didn’t want to complete repairs or it had been in the shop for multiple repairs, and the manufacturer bought the vehicle back. You sign paperwork that tells you about this process and why it was bought back. Anyone that says otherwise is just trying to cause a problem, it will also be on carfax.
