My son had a total break of his femur near his hip. He spent a week in the hospital before being taken to Northshore Rehabilitation Hospital in Lacombe. When he first entered the rehab I could not envision him ever getting back to normal or even walking again. After being at the rehab for just a couple of days I began to have hope that not only would he be walking again but it would be sooner rather than later. Everyone we encountered was wonderful. What a wonderful place I’m kinda shy or backwards and this place should be on the states Top list if not the country’s top 10, Every staff member goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable rather they are you PT or someone else’s they go out of their way everyday, again wow it’s a great place even the food is pretty good well very good in fact and my nurse or CNA/Rehab assistant brings me ice cream or a snack every night I have asked Shout out to the new PT Jenna she absolutely loves her job and made sure I was comfo... read more
I loved Northshore Rehab. I recommend this hospital to anyone who needs rehab. I’d like to thank Joe Reese for teaching me to walk again. I want to thank Monica and Lisa for teaching me to take care of myself and for making me strong again.Lisa had us for group therapy for exercise and games and she made us love it! They all worked so hard to get me going again. I thank all of the employees from the bottom of my heart. Thank you!
It is the best rehabilitation place I have ever seen. Everybody was wonderful and tried so hard to please my mom, Carolyn Kilpatrick. Big shout out to Joe Reese who taught mom to walk again. Monica and Lisa were wonderful OT and group therapy. They all worked very hard to get Mom back to her independence. They knew mom did not have much energy the last few days but at our outpatient cardiology visit we found she went into a-flutter. Monica got her to be able to shower and dress by herself. The people here at North Shore rehab Hospital are friendly and very knowledgeable about the therapy that is needed for the patients to recover quickly. I have come so far being here and working with the therapist both occupational and physical therapist. What most impressed me and made me choose Northshore rehabilitation hospital.
