My husband was leery because we usually stay in one of the big chain hotels but I wanted something different this time. This is a nice clean motel with friendly helpful people. Simple decor and no luxuries like a breakfast bar or microwave in room but the location is wonderful... Directly across the street from Lake Michigan and a great boardwalk. Great little motel for a reasonable price.

An excellent stop if you're visiting the Upper Peninsula!! A short drive to so many attractions - hard to fit it all in. Rooms are very cute and clean and the owners Dick and Brenda so warm and friendly. We enjoyed the warm small hometown feeling of Northshore Motel. The sunrise and sunset - BEAUTIFUL too.

Love it here. We come here ever july now. Last time we stayed here we had a newborn, 3 year old and 9 year old. ( we stayed 9 days) Very family friendly and the owners are great. Can't wait until july so we can go back!
