Completely dishonest. I went to view a couple of units and applied for one of them and sent them everything they said they wanted to see. Then they ran my credit and said come in and put down the check for the move-in fee and they wouldn't say that unless they were sure I was going to be approved. The next day Eric sent me a picture of the check I wrote scribbled out with VOID written on it and said that I had been denied and wouldn't give me a real reason for it and that no property owner they work with would approve me. Yeah a little hard to work with Eric showed me apartment yesterday, I needed to rent and confirmed availability. I sensed his behavior a bit off. He delayed application, I had to follow up and next day, I spend time getting documentation and paperwork ready and called him. He said oh that unit is already rented ? Seriously ? He already knew what was happening at the back end. We should not waste people's time like that. I felt a little unethical practice of business here.
I second what Mary said. My apartment was disgusting the day I took the keys and moved in. I should not have not taken the keys and instead gone to a hotel until they had the place up to par. When I expressed displeasure Eric was rude, threw the keys down & left. There was no chance for me to think clearly and refuse to take possession that day. They did not provide a move-in checklist. Landlords were horrible. NSA&C did not tell me the buzzers did not work, the parking zone is so small it was laughable and I had to pay for ... read more
Update 12/1/25: NSA&C rented me a unit with a tub that did not drain, roaches, buzzers that don't work, little to no parking tho they told me there was parking, etc. THEN! I reported the landlords to the Village for lack of heat and other code violations. Andy at NS told me to use his name as a reference for my new landlord and then he trashed me to them. I second what Mary said. Eric and Andy took my money and ran. My apartment was pretty disgusting the day I took the keys and moved in.
