I took my youngest in for his first dental check up. I was very disappointed in the lack of care. While the staff was polite, it was clear from the moment we walked in the door that we were being rushed back out. From the moment we got out of the car until the moment we pulled out of the parking lot, 5 minutes had passed. The dentist didn't introduce himself or attempt to make my child comfortable. I had an extremely painful absess and swollen jaw. I called the Humboldt office, they did not have an opening and the receptionist gave me their Webster City #. The receptionist at this location was equally helpful and I had an appointment that day. I have had TERRIBLE experiences with dentists and have come to expect the worst. I was very surprised by Dr. Kyle Olsen. He looked at my X-rays and took extra time to discuss the best options, to make the most use of my time and insurance. Dr. Olson is an amazing dentist. Was always great with my kids. Couldn't have asked for better. Unfortunately North Park Dentistry bought his office out and things went down hill from there. Unprofessional, not friendly, and degrading service. If you're looking for a family dentist, this isn't it. Be prepared to know your insurance better than the office staff.
