I went through both the bridges program and part of the cornerstone program through NorthStar. I had to leave the cornerstone group early because the therapist running the program made an incredibly unfounded comment that caused me to feel unsafe and unwelcome in the group. I would not recommend joining the groups unless all you have been diagnosed with is depression or anxiety. Other mental illnesses are never really mentioned.
Extremely unprofessional. I sent my daughter to see a provider at Northland. Subsequently, she has been seen at another provider. The new provider states the advice given by Northland was completely bogus and unfounded in reality. Their opinion was Northland did more harm than good, contrary to the Hypocratic Oath. Additionally, I asked for a copy of my daughter's records and was given the records of a different patient. Who knows where my daughter's records ended up. Stay away from these providers at all costs!
Northlake Counseling Service & Bridges at Stone Creek. These two offer far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend! Services offered but not limited to Northland counseling, CBT, DBT, aftercare,Crossroads and others that I have not used. Friendly and very helpful staff. They are flexible and are always willing to work with you, your schedule and provide options to fit your needs.
Saw melissa at northland counseling in chanhassen, mn 2x and had it paid for by employee assistance program. I got a bill for 3 months. I called each time to tell them again... they needed to bill EAP. I would not go back till problem was solved. Once solved....I Saw sherri at same location and again was billed when it was an EAP session still. This time I asked for the manager, elaine?
