Brought my dog in because he stopped eating & pooping and usually gets anal gland issues every so often when this happens. The doctor checked and said his anal glands were empty which was a plus but didn’t share any insight on what to feed him to get him interested & pooping again. The tech ran out of the room and the vet just sat there. Lmao I swear it was the weirdest vet experience and my dog is 7 years old. NEVER take your pet to get euthanized here. It was the most traumatizing experience for me and my poor sweet 17 year old girl. My dog was having a huge panic attack after they put the catheter in her arm and I was told she would be sedated before, but this was not the case. And instead, my baby died in my arms fighting for her life as they injected the euthanisa medication WITHOUT sedating before. North Lake Pet Hospital has been absolutely wonderful. While I was on vacation, my dog’s health declined very quickly and our pet sitter had to bring her in. Dr. Nejtek cared for her and guided me through the entire process, even from afar. Unfortunately, we had to make the heartbreaking decision to put her down. This was an incredibly difficult time for my family, but the compassion and communication I received from Dr. Nejtek exceeded all expectations. I brought my dog in for a cherry eye surgical procedure and had the most phenomenal experience with Dr. Blake Rochell and the Northlake Pet Hospital team! They were all so thorough with pre and post-care instructions. The pricing was straightforward from the very beginning. They truly care for every animal that comes in.
