I have been meaning to write this post for a while. My mom was hospitalized @ Emory Hospital in Oct 2019 for a routine OBGYN surgery with Dr. Northington. She had an unexpected post operative complication and Dr. Northington and her team were on top of everything and provided outstanding care. Two years later -- I am grateful that my mom is doing well and thriving, thanks to the attention and excellence of Dr. Northington and her medical team!!!
I took my mom to Dr. Northington after a previously scheduled surgery was cancelled due to unwarranted reluctance by another surgeon. Dr. Northington and her team were phenomenal! She fully examined my mother and thoroughly explained her options to correct the issue she was having, including the risks and benefits to each option. Ultimately, she performed surgery on my mother, and my mother recovered very well as Dr. Northington expected. Dr. Northington basically saved my life. She corrected a surgery that was done by another Doctor. She was ALWAYS attentive, understanding and patient. ALWAYS had bedside manner, very professional and her staff was amazing. I'm beyond thankful! ~Ariana K.
