My husband and I were visiting the area and a friend made this recommendation. The "Southern Hospitality" and nostalgic environment made it special. We missed breakfast but the hearty portioned and tasty lunch was very reasonably priced. Let's not forget the all-you-can-drink home-mixed Cherry Pepsi!!!!
Finally got to stop by today, had to take the bus to town and make the hike and even for all of that effort it was well worth it. The Chris Evans burger rocks, and the bonus was when I realized I was sitting beside the Elvis nameplate at the counter. Very cool place, and the Orangeade might literally be my favorite drink I've ever had.
Love this place. Great food, friendly folks. Cool atmosphere.
