I can’t recommend Jonathan and Northgate Eye Care highly enough. I walked in today and asked for a PD( pupillary distance) measurement. I was told to come back until the optometrist arrives. When I went back, I was told it would cost $100. What a joke! I went to Specsavers and they happily did it for free. One of the staff behind the counter did a manual measurement in a minute and didn't even require an optometrist. I also enquired at OPSM and they said they would do it free of charge. My advice, avoid this place and do yourself a favour - go to Specsavers, a lot more trustworthy.
Best optometrist appointment I've ever had. Dr Ucinek is extremely competent and clearly puts the health of patients at the forefront of what he does. I went in for a general check-up and left with information that is fundamental to my daily life. If you care about the wellbeing of your eyes, I strongly recommend booking a consultation with this friendly, thorough, and informative team!
Family friend recommended I see Jonathan before I go back home to europe.He started me on the DNEye scanner which takes over 7000 measurements of the eye and picked up that I was keratoconus suspect. He also discovered I had lost up to 50% of my meibomian glands with something called meibomography and recommend I see a dry eye specialist back home.He printed off my scans to take back to Europe with a warning to tell my eye specialist about my cornea when i eventually get cataract surgery as extra steps need to be taken so my... read more
Just picked up my beautiful new pair of prescription glasses 🤩 Johnathan is a highly skilled and knowledgeable optometrist, with the latest technology to run many different eye examinations and to check eye health. He served me with such care, I felt I was in excellent hands. He and Martine offer such great customer service, I am so grateful for their service and kindness.
