The biometric Rodenstock lenses were amazingly sharp and clear. The multifocal design for my prescription took maybe a day to fully adjust and has been instrumental to my improved comfort with near tasks. Jonathan’s thorough care is a reassuring note that there are independent optometry practices are moving in the right direction for the future of eye care.
Best optometrist appointment I've ever had. Dr Ucinek is extremely competent and clearly puts the health of patients at the forefront of what he does. I went in for a general check-up and left with information that is fundamental to my daily life. I came for my first eye test at 20. I was getting sore tired eyes as well as watery eyes. My eye test started with the Rodenstock DNEYe scanner, which takes a biometric model of the eye and helps to screen for many eye conditions.Jonathan was very thorough with his eye consultation he diagnosed eye strain related to being longsighted and picked up that I had early signs of dry eye disease which was starting to affect my meibomian glands. Family friend recommended I see Jonathan before I go back home to europe.He started me on the DNEye scanner which takes over 7000 measurements of the eye and picked up that I was keratoconus suspect. He also discovered I had lost up to 50% of my meibomian glands with something called meibomography and recommend I see a dry eye specialist back home.He printed off my scans to take back to Europe with a warning to tell my eye specialist about my cornea when i eventually get cataract surgery as extra steps need to be taken so my... read more
