I was taken here against my will, just to have my belongings stolen from me by the staff. Not to mention being disrespected and belittled the entire time. Disgusting behavior from people who claim to care. Update: I contacted Northern Virginia Mental Health Institute hoping to get my stolen items back, which included a $200 pair of airpods. My wife was in this facility about 8 to 12 months ago. I bought her a bunch of things and they were stolen from her. It was someone being attacked in the background while I was on the phone with my wife and I thought it was her being attacked so I called the state police to check on her safety now she's in there again and they will not patch me through to the unit that she is located in according to the doctor who called me yesterday. The front desk lady is rude as possibly imagined.
