I just called with a unique question. I’m mid way through explaining my question (maybe 5-10 seconds in? MAX) and the lady interrupts me and goes “what are you interested in sir” in a condescending tone. I quickly tell her my goal and she goes “it’s $7.49 (roughly) + tax. Pick up at farm only”. She needs to work on her people skills, that was terrible. The price is decent… but just because of that trashy response, I’ll go elsewhere

This place is awesome! If you’re getting sod anywhere else and you’re in Dane county I think you are making a mistake. I woke up one morning, decided I wanted sod, called them. Within two hours they’d cut fresh sod for me and had it loaded in my truck; and all for a cost 35% lower than I’d have gotten at any retailer. Staff was awesome. Great experience. Highly recommend!

They now use plastic netting in their sod. Planted many rolls two seasons ago and it’s now all coming up. Wish they’d go back, as we got great sod from them four years ago.
