They now use plastic netting in their sod. Planted many rolls two seasons ago and it’s now all coming up. Wish they’d go back, as we got great sod from them four years ago.

easy peasy and they offer a utility sink to wash your hands after you load up.
I had a poor experience with Northern Sod Farms. I called on a Thursday to get a few rolls of sod on Saturday. The person on the phone seemed confused and awkward but I didn't think too much of it. I placed my order for Saturday and they did NOT specify a pickup time. When I arrived on Saturday they were sold out. I was blamed for being a "no show" on my pick up time.
