Took my 3 teenage kids to the fair tonight. We purchased the bracelets that allowed for unlimited rides for the four of us. All of us had a great time riding the rides and enjoyed the live entertainment by Heath Bartley! The food was great and we enjoyed various items from different food stands. For a once a year event, this is definitely one of our favorite family activities here in the County. It was worth every penny and we are appreciative of the hard work of those who make this happen every year. Keep up the great work ... read more

I agree the fair is not good this year they thought they were doing something good but no the buildings are hard to get into if you are in a wheel chair. no one knows that there are venders in the old so called ladies provillion. the amount of rides and things to do is not worth the money you pay for it.

Business response:

We moved the rides out of the parking lot for safety reasons. A walk-in gate is much safer for our patrons because it keeps cars off the midway. We will be looking into ways to continue to improve our layout, including more handicap accessibility and signage on buildings. It costs the midway thousands of dollars to bring their rides here and we are thankful they for their willingness to come to the area, without them there would be zero rides. Our group of volunteers put thousands of hours into making this event possible and... read more

I took my kids to the fair yesterday and they had a blast with their friends. I love the new setup of having the rides near the forum and as a parent of young teenagers that do not like their mom following them around, I appreciated the extra security that was walking the crowds, and the ability to go listen to live music close by while they enjoyed the rides and food. The kids also enjoyed seeing the animals. Thank you to the Fair Committee and Volunteers for all their hard work in providing us with an affordable, fun famil... read more

The setup was awful. the prices continue to rise. the rides were breaking down. everything was way too close together. less animals, shops, and events than previous years.this was by far my worst experience at the fair out of the last 34 years I've been attending. we will be skipping it next year if the setup isn't fixed. you should offer refunds. because this year was the worst you've had.

I used to go for the rides, games, and other attractions. Now I go for the food (and that wasn't really worth it). The new compact layout made foot traffic impossible, midway gets smaller and smaller, and attractions were skimpy. I'd love to see some wrestling, or other music options...especially in the evening. 90 k doesn't go far these days but, c'mon.

website is not appealing to me, found it hard to navigate. Only found 1` event listed and I had to look for it. Yes grandstands need to be torn down and rebuilt. Why was the fair program(s) not in the paper the week before. Sounds like poor planning.. I don't see any reason there could not be some kind of entertainment/program in the forum every night of the fair week. Probably wont waste my money and go this year.

Business response:

The fair flyer was in the paper two weeks before and at local grocery stores and gas stations. You can also print it online.
