No Lights! Living up to its reputation again. It's nice to know that in this world of uncertainty, some things never change. Given that Idaho was instrumental in developing nuclear power, it's ridiculous that we are dependent upon the BPA. It's even more ridiculous that France has a better grip on nuclear power than we do. Maybe instead of chasing the " green dream" ( fantasy is more like it) NLI would serve its consumer base better by pushing for the safe and more reliable energy that modern nuclear power plants offer. Responsive and helpful customer service and billing office.
Update 3: NLI has been great this last year. When I have called with questions, they try hard to resolve the question or find someone who will. Twice I have had to have them come out for a new house build and they have exceeded my expectations. Hard workers with great customer service. I think previous reviews need reevaluated, those that left them need to see if it's an accurate reflection. My first review was not good because I had a terrible experience, but over the last 1-2 years I've have several good experiences. Updat... read more
Update 2: NLI has really improved this last year. They were able to get my power hooked up in a timely manner, front office staff has been courteous, and overall a much more positive experience. Update: was told it was a misunderstanding and it wouldn't be that long. Manager was much more pleasant to talk to, as was the engineer. We will see how this whole process goes, but the front office staff needs some training on customer service.
