Our hearts are full of gratitude to Northern Illinois Hospice - their management team, as well as their dedicated, compassionate caregivers. From the time our dad was admitted to Northern Illinois Hospice, he felt it was the best decision for his healthcare, as he was at home with family, comfortable, painfree, safe, and well-cared-for. His caregivers were gracious and empathetic, while also being realistic and informative - both with Dad and our family.

Sanctuary provided so much support and resources for my family member while he was on hospice. I will forever be grateful! 10/10 recommend.

Highly recommend NIH. They’re truly a genuinely caring organization that has services for every family member. Their involvement improved my mom’s quality of life and eased our concerns. I also attended their free grief therapy offered at Anderson Gardens. If you’re looking for hospice care, contact Northern Illinois Hospice. We are forever grateful for their services.

Called Tuesday evening and an on call nurse (can't remember her name) came and she was wonderful. She removed some stitches that Vanessa said would have been taken care of the week... read more

Worse experience of my life dealing with northern Illinois hospice. Lack of communication. Asked 2.5 wks ago for a volunter to come sit for a couple of hours a day on Thurs and Friday. I work and cannot be with him. All I'm being told is they are working on it. Unbelievable the stress that is on the family and no help. Hospice told us we would have to "fill in the gaps". That's fine, but 22hrs to fill. If I knew it was going to be like this. I would have went with someone else. Disgusted family member of a man in his final d... read more
