I would not recommend Northern Gastroenterology to anyone who values timely or competent care. I needed a procedure Sunday, left ONE voicemail on procedure line (there is no answering service) and no one bothered to contact me until Friday. Days of silence while dealing with a serious medical issue is completely unacceptable. If you need real, responsive care, skip this office entirely and see Dr. Schwartz in Pittsburgh instead. Don’t waste your time or your health here.
Visits to the office and in-person treatment were above average but I was disappointed with after care. It is difficult to get ongoing support even if they’re the prescribers of treatment with atypical or unexpected side effects. Do your research and advocate for yourself ahead of and during your visit.
I would NEVER ever again go to this sham of a place. I was canceled twice by them. I needed my appt badly for stomach pain and IBS. Bad phone service & they never answer anyway. Dr's are always unavailable. Go elsewhere where you are treated better. Lousy!!!!
I went here for the first time and had a great experience! Not only did I get in with the doctor I wanted to get established with, but was given two earlier options due to other patient cancellations (but I kept my original appt). Allll of the ladies in the office were super kind, engaging, and personable. I'm picky about making sure I pick up genuinely good energy in a doctor's office and I'm definitely coming back!
