It was second time I was supporting birth of a child at this center. Four years ago as a friend and this year it was my own child. I can not say anything but only great about this place and the team. Camila and Talia were phenomenal support during the process. There were also so many awesome people names of whom I did not remember but sho helped us. I had a c-section last year due to baby in breech position. From janitorial to the doctors to midwives, all staff were friendly, helpful & professional. It is clear the patient's care & needs are main focus. I would choose NDH again for any future pregnancies & births.
We had a wonderful experience here in July 2025. I went in for an induction turned emergency C-section, due to complications outside of anyone's control. Our midwife, Marlaina from Optum, made very careful decisions throughout and she explained her thought process several steps in advance, so I knew what to expect. So the C-section didn't come as a complete shock. Dr. McDowell performed the C-section quickly and our baby came out healthy, despite the emergency situation. I gave birth to my first baby here two months ago and was cared for by such compassionate and knowledgeable staff. My husband and I learned so much from the nurses about how to care for our newborn. Each provider felt personally invested in my and my baby’s well being and comfort. Being that it was my first, I was very scared of how labor would unfold.
