I was able to visit her daily at length for the first two weeks of her stay at NCLTAH. Please stay away from here they dont care for the patients and let them scream and never pay attention to the call light we help a man and women in the rooms needing help cause they were yelling hello and nurses would just walk by the room .. we walk in the room and notice bruises on our loved one when we ask they didn’t know what to say blamed it on our love one.. I cannot say enough good things about Northern Colorado Long Term Acute Hospital. My husband was admitted last month, recovering from a severe brain aneurysm, and the care he received was truly exceptional. The entire team—nurses, nurse assistants, doctors, and therapists (physical, speech, occupational, and respiratory)—went above and beyond to make him medically stable enough to transition to an acute inpatient rehab facility in Cheyenne. My husband was referred to them after he suffered a stroke, not one due to a blood clot, but due to extreme blood pressure for years. He had extensive bleeding of the brain in an area they would not touch. After a month in ICU they moved him here to wein him off of the ventilator and trach.
