She was very thorough and thoughtful, especially in reviewing my previous results and recommending a baseline breast MRI and genetic testing based on my individual risk factors. Dr Jacob and her team are experts at what they do as well as being very kind and considerate. Also, I LOVE that when I leave at the end of my appointments, I know exactly what Dr Jacob saw on my mammogram. I've been going to the NCWIC decades and even drove over the Bay when I lived in Berkeley to be seen there. I recommend them without reservation! They are the BEST.
Dr. Jacobs has a thorough staff and a thoughtful approach to her patient consultations. Office is clean and calm for the extra time that gets put into making sure that the images are clear to show all the details needed by Dr. Jacobs.
Since Dr.Guthaner retired, I have been a patient of Dr.Jacobs. She has been incredibly diligent and kind, taking the time to give feedback right after any scan, explaining significance and proposed treatment if necessary. One thing I really appreciate is that Dr. Jacobs in her consultation always leads with the good news if a scan comes out negative, so no patient needs to worry longer than absolutely necessary.
