I have gratefully had Dr. James perform 3 surgeries. One knee and both shoulders. The first surgery was my shoulder. Besides the awkward position of the brace, sleeping while sitting up , and the length of time healing, I had remarkable success. I had complete range of motion, no more pain. The knee replacement was a complete success. Mind you, I am not a young women, and I did the physical therapy, and everything I needed to do on my end for my recovery. I’ve had experience with three physicians in this group, but I only needed Dr. Phong Le, DPM for surgery. Dr Le performed foot surgery on me, which consisted of a plate and seven screws; he did a phenomenal job. The surgery was performed at Mercy Hospital and I was most impressed with everyone there as well. They took excellent care of me. Before surgery, I could not stand for long before needing to be off my foot (15-20 mins), and in general I had a lot of foot pain. Thank you to Dr. Goldsmith and the entire staff at this clinic. He helped me heal from a pelvic fracture and gave me the support I needed for twelve weeks of recovery. Dr. Goldsmith is a very knowledgeable sports medicine doc who has a ton of experience with bone injuries. I highly recommend him and this office in Grass Valley.
