DO NOT GO NEAR THIS COMPANY They charged $700 for a pre-renovation inspection, they came and looked at the house but didn't give us any report. They then asked for another $2,500 for a 3D model. BE Warned when they say they are doing a site inspection, they mean a junior civil engineer will come out and look at your house and not do anything but look. If only you could give zero stars!

Maybe builders like NB for their standard churn work but as an architect I would never use them again. Took over from a design-build company and what a mistake that was. Lack of care, sloppy hand drawings, lousy attitude and follow through to meeting deadlines. Warning: Don't ask them to coordinate the grid lines to follow the architectural because their policy is "we don't do gridlines". What an excuse for lack of professionalism that is!
Very disappointed with the lack of customer care. What a waste of my time. 1 week after contacting them, then following up with a phone call as I hadn't heard back, I am told that I would be called today to advise which engineer would be attending, only to receive an email saying "sorry, but we are too busy". Really? Is that the best you can do?
Have had a good experience with NB Consulting Engineers thus far. Working through a DA that has some unusual requirements, Hannah and the team have been responsive and proactive in providing advice and assistance, with high attention to detail. Something we have found a rare commodity navigating this process so far.
