What's crazy is I never said anything on my google rating, nothing on all the Facebook posts or Twitter about the ongoing power outage or my power was out? How would anyone know whay my rating was for unless you got on here and said that? I leave a 1 star review and instead of just letting it sit here with nothing said you have to take time to be passive aggressive and post this? Did the 1 star review really make you that mad? Crazy. One of the worse electric companies i have ever had to use. If i could go for oxford utilities i whould in a heartbeat but they cant service were i am. My problem with northeast is everytime a storm comes thru and knocks out power it takes them what feels like years to get the power back. I whould be left out in my home for 6 to 8+ hours with no power where it gets hot and unbareable and i have to spend extra money to replace the food that has gone bad in the fridge cause it takes northeast a litterally forever to get power ... read more
I am extremely disappointed with the level of service provided by NEMEPA. It is completely unacceptable for the office to be closed in the middle of the day during normal business hours—on a Thursday, no less—for employee training, with no alternative contact options available. I simply needed to change the date for my electricity to be turned off, and there was no way to get assistance. No one was available to provide even the most basic information.
