My mother was taken here from rehab nearby after having a stroke and coughing up blood she waited over 12 hrs in the ER hallway. Before she was given a room. After finally being stable, caseworker rushed to have her put into a nursing home farther away from where we live telling us there were no beds closer to charlotte available and lied to us. Do not bring elderly here!
This is the second time I’ve had a gallstone even though my gallbladder has been gone. I was in excruciating pain for days until they found out what was happening. Everyone I was in contact with at the hospital was amazing. From the doctors, nurses, kitchen,housekeepers, amazing. However I think it’s was a day or so too early for me. Yes I was still needing IV pain meds but my body was already traumatized before the surgery which then resulted in pancreatitis. My wife and I took our son (2 years old) to the ER last night. This place is a sad excuse for a healthcare facility. The waiting room for the ER was absolutely filthy, with trash all over the floor. In addition to the lack of cleanliness, they must not have a functioning HVAC. It was extremely hot and stagnant, which is not typical for a healthcare setting. The care at this hospital for my son was top tier. He was seen in the ER and ended up being admitted for several days and the nurses and radiology staff were incredibly attentive, personal, caring, and attentive. The physicians were also very thorough. In addition, there was so much follow-up after leaving the hospital for several weeks after my son’s hospital stay. Kudos to all the staff!
Terrible hospital stay. Have me sitting the the hallway instead of a proper room. First day they did nothing but an Iv drip second day they did a procedure need to have surgery but need to wait another day since they never scheduled it for today. Spending another night in the hallway. The nurses are all great but they shouldn’t be taking on patients without a proper place.
