This place is crap. They forget about you. Treat you like a after thought. Can't get answers for anything. I suppose to have surgery here soon and I'm scared to death. I don't understand how a hospital this big can be ran like this. The hospitalist don't know anything. When they give you any food it's cold and it feels like they're feeding you like a animal. My 87 year old mother has been here twice in the past month in several different floors. CNA’s for the most are lazy, try to do as little as possible. You have to ask for the patient to be bathed, teeth brushed, hair combed, etc. If you are not there to feed your loved one, they will go hungry. My mother has dementia, and numerous times I came in and found bed rails down, IV’s pulled out, bed alarm not on. It has taken me awhile to write this review, I wanted to to be able to share from my heart exactly how I feel. My sister was admitted to Atrium Cabarrus in January of this year. Her prognosis was not good from the start and I think we all knew this. This did not stop the doctors and nurses there from doing everything possible to treat her with the hope that maybe her life could be extended and they did so with true heartfelt compassion. Performed surgery on me and sent me home with no pain meds and no appointment to see my doctor for 5days. Talked about like I was a bother and treated me horribly.
Had my baby here. I received great care from the docs and nurses, they are very kind and caring. The food was surprisingly delicious. Thank you.
