I arrived at this facility by EMS experiencing severe chest pain. Prior to my arrival, I had already been administered nitroglycerin. Upon arrival, blood work and a chest X-ray were performed, and then, despite the seriousness of my symptoms, I was sent to sit in the waiting room with everyone else. Quite frankly, I was appalled by the level of care and the lack of urgency demonstrated. The parent company being called Advocate Health is an oxymoron, during my recent stay they didn't advocate for me. They pushed 2 unnecessary procedures on me and I have the records to prove it.
Go somewhere else. This place was beyond filthy. Bugs crawling everywhere. I went there with abdominal pain did not even check me because they sat me in a chair. Had to pee in a cup in a restroom stall with blood and poop everywhere. All three stalls were awful. The staff was fine but did not change gloves and set my things for an IV on a filthy shelf instead of a clean tray.
