I had the unfortunate need to attend E.D on the weekend & will never subject myself or relatives to such uncaring people ever again. Apart from dosing me with opioids for hours no definate decision was made about treatment & I discharged my in the morning. It was so cold in the department they handed out blankets to all waiting patients. Absolutely disgusting!!

Was admitted from Hotham Medical Clinic to Emergency at Wangaratta Hospital after a ski accident. The handover from the Paramedics to the ER followed by careful medical assessment at the hospital was second to none. From junior to senior medical staff the professional medical care provided was excellent. Thank you to everyone who helped me to get through the medical emergency!!

I recently had surgery at Northeast Health Wangaratta and was incredibly impressed by the care I received from everyone in Day Surgery. From admission through to discharge, every staff member was professional, compassionate, reassuring and genuinely caring. After a major surgery on discharge I was unable to walk out of hospital from a high up stairs ward. Or barley stand take a step. My elderly father had try find a wheelchair who is in his 80 s very unwell unstable on his feet and try wheelchair me to the car. I was in tears watching my poor father trying to push me to car. After a major surgery id have expected a bit more assistant s care .
