For the majority of us, insurance only covers a select few of the already limited amount of facilities we have in the area, and other smaller MH offices typically are not taking new patients- NGPG Psychiatry Gainesville is our only hope. The psychiatrist is a great professional, but the front desk service is terrible. One of the receptionists, an older woman, completely lacks the patience, empathy, and basic professionalism required in a mental health facility. My son has been a patient at this clinic for few years, and just because he turned 18 two months ago, she demanded his ID and told him in a very rude manner that he had to do everything himself now. this place deserves absolutely stars!! But you have to give at least one star to post. Please NEVER go to Dr. Pancheva!! She is harsh and VERY insensitive. She doesn't listen at all. She should NEVER have been allowed to be in this line of work. I was told that I had to get HER to refer me to another psychiatrist if I wanted to change doctor's. If you're smart and you really want help do NOT go to go to this place.. I am SO disgusted. I only wanted to tell people not to go here but the more I think about it the madder I get.... read more
