This is literally where they send people to die. They were giving my grandma medication she didn't need, none of the nurses were on the same page and giving her double doses and things that were not even recommended on her chart. Left there to rot in her own feces without ANYONE caring to clean her up. They don't care about you or your family, they don't care that your loved ones are dying and they treat them like garbage. Horrible treatment from ER staff. The actual nurses once admitted are just doing a job. You know for sure that they don't care about you or your health. Like I said their just doing a job. I will die going to another hospital before I come here again.
BEST HOSPITAL EXPERIENCE EVER, BUT NOT FOR WHAT YOU MIGHT THINK...My father-in-law is there right now having undergone heart surgery. My mother-in-law is understanably a little spent and lost her purse at the hospital cafeteria today. She and my husband searcher everywhere they could think of to find it. This is quite possibly the most incompetent hospital I have ever been in. My dad was taken here after a car wreck because it was a great trauma center. What a joke!!!! They are quite literally not able to give proper care. Thankfully, we got a Dr in Athens and received great care at Piedmont hospital!
I had a wonderful experience at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Every single healthcare worker I interacted with was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. From the nurses and doctors to the support staff, the level of care was outstanding. Thank you all for everything you do!
