I’ve waited for a month before posting this review to give more time to both me to reflect and to Lisa to reach out. Since she didn’t, I think it’s important to share my experience with others. I was late by 4 minutes and Lisa was already not in the mood. She said she thought I wasn’t coming but since I texted her “so many times” I had to come. Wife got a lovely cut, but would not recommend for trans and gender non-conforming people looking for a gender affirming cut/experience. Was misgendered multiple times throughout the experience, and wife was told that my haircut price was "compromised" on by ringing me up for my gender assigned at birth as opposed to what was on the reservation when we made the appointment. Amazing experience with Lisa! She made me feel so comfortable and at peace. I'm not one to talk a lot and she respected that. She still gave me space to talk if I felt like it. Whilst the color had to sit in my hair, she told me I could choose from the many snacks and teas/coffee. I was happy that her salon provided all of that no cost. And there's no hidden fees or extra costs! She's one of the best hair stylists I've ever been to and I'm definitely coming back.
