I went to your office in June 2022 because I have been having a problem walking and have been using a cane because of my hip. (Severe degenerative changes and tears) I also have bad knees. I was told during that visit that I would need a hip replacement, but I’m too young. I was told that my only option was to have steroids injected into my hip and take anti-inflammatory medications until I hit 50 years old, and then I’d be eligible for hip replacement surgery. NB Orthopædics is a group of Orthopædic Surgeons and the PA’s (Physician Assistants) they directly supervise. Dr. Andrew Brooks treats mainly lower extremity (knee and hip) and Dr. Robert Peterson treats mainly upper extremity. Daniel Hartley is Dr. Brooks PA and Hannah Mertens is Dr. Peterson’s PA. I have been treated by all of the medical staff here and could not get more competent, compassionate, professional care any where else even at a tertiary care center!
