North Bay automotive was recommended to me by a coworker. I had a sudden need for a good mechanic on a random day. I first stop by North Bay to ask if they had availability, I was greeted with courtesy and Professionalism. They said they had availability. I had my truck towed over to the shop. Great staff. Great service. I brought in my Volvo c30 with a check engine light on and they were able to diagnose it and clearly explain the issue and options. Repair cost were reasonable and affordable. I now take my car there for regular maintenance. Definitely recommend.
Our mature Lexus sedan has low mileage and seldom experiences the illumination of the ‘check engine light’ We called for an appointment, it was serviced the next day and just before the car was released (tire sensor replacement) the sensor lights came back on. They held the car back overnight to figure what was triggering the light to illuminate. It was just a flick of the Winter mode and Spring mode switch. Conscientious, courteous and thorough service.
The team at Northbay Automotive were exemplary in their service! I was immediately greeted with warmth and my service was completed efficiently with limited wait time. I’m writing this review to document both a serious diagnostic failure and an equally serious communication breakdown. We brought our 2018 Ford F-150 2.7L EcoBoost to Northbay Auto for an exhaust-related issue. The truck remained at the shop for over a week, and we were billed $2,119.72. Within two days of pickup, the check engine light returned, and the truck was brought back as a documented comeback.
