Most definitely will not be returning after my phone call today with the receptionist Kelly. Called to see the status of scheduling an appointment for my sister who has been attempting to make an appointment for two months now, no returned phone call to her. She is a college student so needed to be seen before August as her child primary care will no longer see her. Patient privacy is clearly not being practiced here. After calmly expressing my concern to the manager, I was met with an unprofessional and rude response. Instead of addressing the issue, she asked me, “What would you like me to do about it?”—this was after I informed her that two receptionists were in violation of HIPAA law. This level of disregard for patient confidentiality and respectful communication is completely unacceptable.
This is where I go for primary health care. Very attentive, friendly, and competent care. They really care about their patients. Dr. Wren is knowledgeable and has great bedside manner. I recommend them to people in the Plattsburgh area who want excellent primary medical care.
You can message them on the secure chat, but they will only respond if you're asking about a prescription or scheduling an appointment. You can call them on the phone, but their phone hours are limited compared to office hours. They did get me in same day when I had a medical emergency and saved me a trip to urgent care, and I still recommend this place to people, maybe I just need to adjust my expectations for a primary care idk
