Mom, now requiring assisted care, has lived at NVAL for two months and the transition has gone smoothly for the family. Mom loves her caregivers and has told us she is comfortable in the home and says the meals are very good. When visiting with her in her private room she is anxious to be with "the group", wanting to continue our visit in the living area. (I think she doesn't want to miss out on the activities.) My mother has adapted well at this assisted living facility after having a very difficult time when my father passed away. The owners and caregivers have been compassionate and tremendously helpful every step of the way. The facility is immaculate. I visit routinely and the residence is always pleasant and bright and the caregivers are always attentive and warm. We take comfort in the fact that my mother is safe, comfortable, and surrounded by people she can trust and depend on for her daily needs, including her healthcare. ... read more

I am a professional nurse visiting patients at this facility. They treat their residents with dignity and respect, giving choices regarding their care. Following doctor orders and giving compassionate care.

Don't expect to get your last month's deposited back.They will back out on their word and their contract. They are obviously in it for the money.. I'm going to contact channel 3 and inform Gary Harper to publicly expose their dishonesty. I hope the $4,500 is worth it to them.

We worked for the owners for almost 5 years. Very nice, good mood family, we loved to work with them. We have now opened our own assisted living, where we can benefit from our experience of more than 10 years.
