Short staffed, patients, especially elderly patients were not given medications to manage pain and other pre-existing conditions. Housing arrangements were made last minute leading to outpatient homelessness. They will keep patients in for as long as their insurance will pay for the stay. The usual worthless "help" that is nothing but talk and ends as soon as all the boxes on the list are checked and they can get rid of you. Promised to get an MRI; never happened. Promised to have a family session before the weekend was out; never happened. Promised to help with finding placement options; never happened. Threatening our other children with a DCF investigation if we didn't do what they wanted did absolutely happen. Truly worthless and absolutely no help at all.

I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with NTBH therapists. Leah has been fantastic. She’s always kind and responsive. The therapists at NTBH have been fantastic and add value to the patient care experience.

This place is awful. From personal experience I was held under a voluntary requested to be released by signing a RTR form was threatened by the doctor to rescind it. When I asked why it was for blood work. When I asked the tech on night shift Chad or Chase on B unit said I couldn’t have it or I would be under involuntary per the doctor. I did not receive the medication I normally take. It was so bad my mom had to get involved we had an attorney on retainer to file in the courts. I wasn’t suicidal no ideations. My mom was sent here and I have brought up several concerns to the staff. It is extremely difficult to get somebody on the phone once you do. I have nurses telling me to call back because they have to go figure out what I requested when in reality you could put me on hold and figure out the answer to my question (which you should already know). They wanted to send my mother 2 1/2 hours away knowing one of her triggers is being away from family, which made absolutely no sense and didn’t call to inform me until a day before. A... read more
