Edited: we used North Star again in May of 2022 to refinance. After we closed we had issues. When I tried to communicate with Jan about them (called 3x no call back and via text) she was dismissive and stopped responding; I tried getting ahold of the two lenders reporting to our credit to no avail so I reached out to Jan - terrified I had two mortgages out and was going to be responsible for 4800 a month plus the fact that it looked like we had well over a million in debt. Jan and her team did a GREAT job! They were very easy to work with and very hands on! They responded to emails, texts and questions very quickly! The closing was fast and efficient because we were able to sign a majority of the closing documents before the in-person closing! I would HIGHLY recommend them to EVERYONE looking to purchase a new home! THANK YOU Jan! Your ROCK!!

I was told at the end of January that closing would be in 45 days. Our lease was up at the end of February so we asked for a month extension. A few days before our closing mid- March, Jan asked for 2 additional weeks. We weren't happy but agreed to the delay. April brought stories of our file being lost twice, a tornado back east, and lenders closing due to Covid19 as well as 2 failed closing dates. I dont know where to start when it comes to Jan, her and her team worked day and night for my family. buying a home is stressful enough and when I thought all doors were closed she found another one to open. I never thought I would own a home in my life but she went above and beyond for us and I couldnt be more grateful. If you want a good experience i would recommend Jan to anyone !!!
