Hi. My name is Rebecca and i am for Rhode Island. My dad bought a car for North South Motorcar inc and likes what he got so he said that i should check them out when i started hunting for a car for myself. I ended up getting a 2004 Honda Civic 2 door for 4800$ with 73,000 miles on it. A really good deal!! When i had started driving it have a few problems with my egr. I brought it back, they fixed it same day for no charge. Great service and price what's not to love?
They were unprofessional on the phone and via e-mail. Tried to sell a car with an open safety recall and said they would take additional photos but never did. Dodged direct questions. Refused to deal with an independent inspector for an out of state buyer.
Great place to get a car – I have no idea why there are bad reviews on here, they absolutely tell you they sell salvage/re-built cars!! I bought my 2004 Honda Civic from there a couple of months ago and could not be happier. I wanted a Civic with low miles at a great price and so that is what I got. I could not find one anywhere else with only 65,000 miles on it, that's for sure! So, stop whining, pay attention and do your RESEARCH before you do business with a dealership - you will be fine in the end.
DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM – They sell nice LOOKING cars... Mechanically this cars are not worth it . Not respectful. Bad Customer service. I had a big problem with this company. save your self the headache.
Only Buy Here if You Know a Lot About Cars – I got a great car from this place. I had it inspected by a mechanic because I had heard that all of the cars are totaled and just LOOK good. The mechanic said mine was in great shape, so I decided to buy it. I negotiated a price, and because the mechanic had said the tires would not pass inspection, I asked for new tires. This place is great – i bought a 1999 honda prelude from these guys a years ago and it is still running and driving perfectly. my buddy also purchased a 2001 acura integra gsr from these guys and its still running amazing!
This place is fine – I bought my 2001 Integra GSR from these guys 2 years ago and its still running beautifully. I had a buddy of mine buy a 2001 Prelude from them as well last year, it drives perfectly fine. Both cars passed inspection immediately after purchase as well, i highly recommend this place if your in the market for a sporty ride, and they have the best.
Be weary....this is a shifty operation – I found a car that I was interested in that this dealership was selling, but upon arriving at the dealership I discovered that all the cars on their lot had been totaled vehicles purchased from insurance agencies. This dealership fixes them up and makes them look nice enough to buy, but they aren't made to last, and I believe it would be a poor decision to buy one of their cars.
