Situated in the town of Barnegat Light, at the northern end of Long Beach Island, New Jersey, it offers a quiet, family atmosphere perfect for a day, weekend or several weeks stay. The inn has spacious rooms with air-conditioning/heating, secure wireless internet, color cable TV, daily maid service and beach badges. All Rooms are NON-SMOKING Rooms. All rooms have convenient outside access. There is excellent off-road parking.

We used to have a house near the hotel and I've been going to Long Beach Island for almost 50 years so I am very familiar with the area. Overall, the hotel was physically decent and exactly what we were looking for - quiet, close to the beach, within walking distance of some restaurants and pubs.
The staff was quite friendly and helpful.
My fiance and I stayed just one night during the off-season and we appreciated the friendly owners, quiet location and clean room. I spend my summers in Barnegat Light as a kid and was amazed to find that the town really has not changed at all in almost 40 years! I felt like I had gone back in time and had to keep reminding myself I was only 2 hours from Manhattan!
The owners are very nice and helpful. They let us change rooms when we couldn't get our computer to hook to the internet. The room was very comfortable and clean.
These rooms were very clean and spacious. Good sized beds but a bit too firm for me. Included beach passes, mini fridge etc. Very friendly staff/owners. Great location.
I just came home from a three night stay at North Shore Inn, and loved every minute of my stay there! I'm a young adult and went with my parents and younger sister, and the room was big enough for us to stay comfortably. It was right down the street from the beach and included beach passes so we could spend the whole day at the beach, and was a short walk from the light house so we could see spectacular sun sets. The North Shore Inn is reasonably priced, clean and located just a block from the beach. Our room was clean (yes, we checked the matresses and they looked beautiful) and comfortable for our family of four. Our room had two queen-sized beds and we slept like babies after days of playing on the beach and biking LBI. We got an efficiency room and the little fridge and stove enabled us to spend less time in restaurants and more time playing.
We just came back from here. We wanted some place to spend a few days that was clean, quiet and near things and this was perfect.
