I have a significant narrowing in my esophagus, which I know because I did a barium swallow, which told us where the problem is, but not what it is. When I met the North Shore Gastro nurse practitioner for a consultation prior to the endoscopy (the camera that should tell me what the problem is), she did not listen to me at all. I felt like she was on autopilot, and it was bad enough that I've now cancelled the endoscopy I was supposed to do with them. We have been patients at the Brooklyn location for many years and have had nothing but positive experiences . In the past every one has been very helpful and kind . Unfortunately, there is always that one instant where professionalism lacks. On June 16th, I was treated at the ER and was asked to contact my doctor to thoroughly explain the results. I've been to this facility a few times, it's not someplace I need to go often. Every time I come in, the staff is super nice, always smiling , always polite and extremely helpful. I always feel like my doctor, Preeti Jhawar, really listens to my concerns and, explains everything in great detail, making sure that I understand. I didn't feel like she was trying to rush me out of her office. She was very helpful with issues that I'm having.

Miss Jennifer, Miss Julie, Miss Sue and Miss Rose were all very professional, hospitable and just a joy to work with. Best experienced in a medical facility of my life. Made me feel comfortable, well versed in medical practice, answer all my questions and are swift with responses and follow up. I highly recommend this location for any of your gastro inquiries.
