The woman who scheduled me was beyond incompetent and kept reading off doctor names for me for apparently no reason. I told her 5 times I dont care what name the DR has but she insisted on reading each name individually. She then scheduled me for something the DR doesn't actually see people for and I didnt find out about it until 1 hour before my appointment a week later.

I have a significant narrowing in my esophagus, which I know because I did a barium swallow, which told us where the problem is, but not what it is. When I met the North Shore Gastro nurse practitioner for a consultation prior to the endoscopy (the camera that should tell me what the problem is), she did not listen to me at all. I felt like she was on autopilot, and it was bad enough that I've now cancelled the endoscopy I was supposed to do with them. We have been patients at the Brooklyn location for many years and have had nothing but positive experiences . In the past every one has been very helpful and kind . Unfortunately, there is always that one instant where professionalism lacks. On June 16th, I was treated at the ER and was asked to contact my doctor to thoroughly explain the results.
